Draft — not yet reviewed by a lawyer. This is a placeholder structure, not a binding legal agreement. It must be reviewed by counsel before any real organisation is onboarded.

Terms of Service

Last drafted: 1 August 2026

AfterResponse is not an emergency or crisis service

AfterResponse supports the operational side of post-incident recovery (recovery offers, stand-downs, opt-in peer support) for members of a subscribed emergency-service organisation. It does not provide clinical care, is not staffed or monitored in real time, and must never be relied on in a medical or psychological emergency. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact emergency services directly.

Who this agreement is between

[Placeholder: entity name/structure to be finalised.] These terms govern use of AfterResponse by members of an organisation that has been granted access ("your organisation"). Your organisation separately agrees to terms covering its subscription — this page covers your use as an individual member.

What the service does

AfterResponse lets you self-activate a short recovery pathway after a job, lets a team leader offer that pathway to a crew, lets a duty manager approve an operational stand-down, and lets you opt in to a consented handoff to a peer supporter or your organisation's configured referral destination (e.g. its EAP). It gives your organisation's WHS function de-identified, aggregate statistics only — never individual-level data. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is and isn't recorded.

Your organisation's responsibilities

Your organisation configures the settings that shape how the service behaves for you — stand-down durations, referral destinations, minimum reporting group size, and which role(s) you hold. AfterResponse relies on your organisation to assign roles accurately and to keep its configured referral destinations current and appropriate.

Acceptable use

Use the service only for its intended operational-recovery purpose. Don't attempt to access another member's individual-level data outside your role's sanctioned view, attempt to circumvent the role-based access boundaries described in the Privacy Policy, or use the service in a way that could identify an individual from an aggregate report.
